ClayMotion offers a range of clay based projects for your staff to explore, design and build together, and at the end of the program they have a physical object that can be installed in the workplace to foster continued company esteem. Finished artworks can be installed in foyers, boardrooms, lunch rooms or gardens.
Creative teambuilding programs are a great way to build upon your employee’s communication skills, company morale and overall productivity.
All programs run over two sessions: 1×3 hour & 1×1 hour session, at a cost of $150.00 per person including materials and kiln firing.

Project One: Tile Mural
Session 1 participants work together to create a design for a wall mural. During this planning stage they also decide where and how the finished mural will be installed. They then make the tiles, and transfer their design onto the tiles. Tiles are then packed into a box for transport to my studio for firing.
Session 2 participants unpack fired tiles and the tiles are adhered to a board backing which is then installed in the workplace.
Project Two: Totem Poles
Session 1 participants work together to create a design for a series of totem poles. During this planning stage they also decide where and how the finished totem poles will be installed. They then make the totem poles, and transfer their design onto the poles. The totem segments are then packed into a box for transport to my studio for firing.
Session 2 participants unpack fired totems and the segments are threaded onto poles for installation in the workplace.
Project Three: Coffee Cups
Session 1 participants randomly partner up and explain to each other what sort of coffee cup they would like (eg: colour, shape, decoration). During this planning phase participants also decide where the coffee cups will be kept- on employees desks/workstations, in lunchroom (does a special display shelf need to be installed?). Each person draws what they are hearing, and make and decorate their coffee cup based on their drawing. Coffee cups are then packed into a box for transport to my studio for firing.
Session 2 participants unpack fired coffee cups and they are given to employees for installation in the workplace.
A display folder containing the teambuilding brief, employee working drawings, photographs taken during the workshop, and final images of completed results are also provided.
